Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban on Colin Kaepernick:

“I don’t know what his status is in the NFL, but I’m glad the NBA doesn’t have a politician litmus test for our players. I’d like to think we encourage our players to exercise their constitutional rights.”

From the college sports inequity department:

University of Utah football coach Kyle Whittingham gets a $15,000 bonus if his team is ranked in the preseason Top 25. If the Utes finish the season in the Top 25, his bonus jumps to $100,000. What do his players get for those same accomplishments? Zippo.
