The Chronicle of Higher Education has a special feature that’s drawing a lot of attention. It’s titled, “What the Hell Has Happened to College Sports? And What Should We Do About It?

In the feature, eight prominent figures in college athletics, including William Friday, Tom McMillen, Nancy Hogshead-Makar, and Harry Edwards discuss what they see wrong with college sports and what they would change. These provocative essays have sparked a lot of conversation around the country and The Chronicle has received a heavy response from readers.

The feature is a great addition to the marketplace of ideas on college sports.
