Ralph Nader and I had an op-ed column in the Baltimore Sun yesterday that discusses the ugly state of big-time sports in light of the recent conference realignment activity.

“If you watch what college presidents, athletic directors and conference commissioners actually do, you’ll realize that only one question is ever considered when it comes to college athletics: What decision can I make that will generate the most revenue? When all you value is dollar bills, it’s hard to do the right thing,” we wrote.

Doing the right thing begins by treating the athletes responsible for the multi-billion industry fairly and ethical. Read the column here.
