We’ve received great feedback regarding the first episode of our new League of Fans’ Sports Forum podcast.

Title IX expert Donna Lopiano was our guest. We talked about various Title IX and equal opportunity issues in the sports world.

Several people contacted us with complaints about local schools in their area not following the Title IX law. They wanted to know how you file an official Title IX complaint.

The Women’s Sports Foundation has a great resource on Title IX and how to assess and achieve gender equity in school sports. Step 15 gives clear directions on how to file a Title IX complaint with the Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR).

You can file an anonymous complaint. Once the complaint is filed, the OCR has a specified number of days to begin an investigation.
